Ruyi Baccarat

INTRODUCTION

Ruyi Baccarat™ is an 8 decks of 52 cards game with standard baccarat rules but eliminates the 5% commission on winning Banker bets by making the hand a push when the Banker hand wins with a three card hand with a total of seven. The scoring system for each card is the same as the standard baccarat.

Face Cards = 0 points

10 Cards = 0 points

2 - 9 cards = face value

Ace = 1 point

The game also includes 6 exciting side bets and the option to squeeze the cards of the hand that you chose to bet.

HOW TO BET

Select your bet amount by clicking on the chip selector and then on the desired chip. Place a chip on the table by clicking on your betting option (Player, Banker or Tie). You can place a bet on any combination of bets to start a new round, with the exception that you cannot simultaneously bet on both the Player and Banker hands in the same round.

When placing a bet on the table, the value of the chip will be displayed next to it. Continue placing chips until the total amount that you wish to bet (within the minimum and maximum table limits) is displayed.

If you make a mistake, you may click on UNDO (to undo the last action) or CLEAR (to remove all bets on the table).

NOTE: At the end of each game, you may place a new bet for the next game or click on REBET to place the same bet as in the previous game.

HOW TO PLAY

To begin the game, you must make a bet in any of the betting spots and click on DEAL.

The first and third cards drawn from the shoe make up the Player’s hand, while the second and fourth cards are the Banker’s hand.

If either of the hands has a value of 8 or 9, the hand is called a "natural" and no further cards are drawn. The hands are compared, and the highest hand wins (the highest possible value being 9). The game is then over.

If neither of the hands is a natural (value of 8 or 9), the Player proceeds first.

If the Player's hand has a value of 6 or 7, the Player stands. If the Banker's hand has a value of 5 or less, the Banker draws a third card, but stands on a value of 6 or 7.

If the Player's hand has a value between 0 and 5, the Player draws a third card. In this situation, the Banker draws a third card IF:

HOW TO WIN

A bet on the Player’s hand wins and is paid even money if the value of the Player’s hand is greater than that of the Banker. This bet does not win if the value of the Player’s hand is less than that of the Banker.

A bet on the Banker’s hand wins and is paid even money if the value of the Banker’s hand is greater than that of the Player. However, this bet does not win if the value of the Banker’s hand is less than that of the Player's hand.

A bet on a Tie wins and is paid at 8:1 if the value of the Player’s hand is equal to the value of the Banker’s hand. This bet does not win if the value of the two hands is not the same. In case of a Tie, bets on either the Player’s hand or the Banker’s hand become void (neither winning nor losing) and players recover their bets.

BACCARAT SCOREBOARD

Baccarat history and outcomes for either the Player or the Banker using a particular shoe are recorded in the scoreboard. This visual tool of past round results and other statistics regarding the current shoe may help you in predicting the results of future rounds.

The Manual Road and Main Road display the results of each past round, while the Big Eye Road, Small Road and Cockroach Road display patterns derived from the Main Road.

Roads and shoe statistics are always cleared when a new shoe is started. Past results do not influence future outcomes in Baccarat.

MANUAL ROAD

Every bead on the Manual Road symbolizes the outcome of a round in the current shoe. The result of the earliest round is recorded in the upper left corner. Following results are recorded from top to bottom, then continue at the top of the adjacent column to the right. A red bead indicates a Banker win. A blue bead indicates a Player win. A green bead indicates a Tie. A red dot in the top left corner of a cell means the Banker had a pair. A blue dot in the bottom right corner of a cell means the Player had a pair.

MAIN ROAD

Every bead on the Main Road symbolizes the outcome of a round in the current shoe. The result of the earliest round is recorded in the upper left corner. Whenever the winning streak shifts from Banker to Player or vice versa, a new column begins directly to the right. A red bead indicates a Banker win. A blue bead indicates a Player win. A tie is recorded as a green diagonal line placed on the bead of the previous Player or Banker result. Naturals are recorded with a small yellow dot in the middle of the bead. If the first round results in a tie, the green line will appear first and then the red or blue bead of the following round will appear underneath. Two or more consecutive ties are recorded with more green lines. Consecutive wins are registered downwards until they reach the end of the column, at which point they form a “dragon’s tail”, bending to the right and continuing in this direction until the streak breaks. If consecutive wins on a different column meets a prior dragon’s tail, it forms its own dragon’s tail.

DERIVED ROADS

The Big Eye Road, Small Road and Cockroach Road display patterns derived from past results recorded in the Big Road. The Big Eye Road uses outlined circles, the Small Road uses solid circles and the Cockroach Road uses diagonal lines. However, in these derived roads, the colors red and blue do not correspond to Banker and Player wins, and there is no way to indicate ties or pairs. In derived roads, the red entries are a sign of order, whereas the blue entries signal a more erratic, chaotic shoe. The derived roads do not start at the very beginning of a shoe. They start with the hand following the first hand in the second, third and fourth columns of the Big Road. Once a derived road starts, an additional red or blue symbol is added after every round.

SHOE STATISTICS

The following statistics based on the current shoe are displayed on screen. Total: The number of completed rounds thus far. Player: The number of Player’s wins thus far. Banker: The number of Banker’s wins thus far. Tie: The number of Tie wins thus far. Player (Pair): The number of Player pairs thus far. Banker (Pair): The number of Banker pairs thus far.

ROAD PROBING TABLE

The Road Probing Table displays the icon that will be added to the three derived roads if the next round is won by the Banker or the Player. The Banker (B) or the Player (P) show the icons that will be added in the roads if the next round is won by the Banker or the Player.

SQUEEZE FEATURE

When the squeeze feature is enabled, the game will draw cards face down and present them to you to squeeze. You get to squeeze the Player OR the Banker’s cards only if you have a corresponding bet. The two cards for squeeze will zoom in and be placed in the center of the screen. If there’s a 3rd card that is drawn to the Banker’s hand, you will get to squeeze that 3rd card as well.

NEW SHOE

At the beginning of a new shoe, the cards will be shuffled and the shoe will be presented to you horizontally to cut it. You can drag and move the cutting card anywhere you want to cut the shoe. Once the shoe has been cut, the first card will be drawn and placed on the table. The numerical value of this card determines the number of cards that will be burned. Burning a card means dealing the cards on the table, face down, and discarding them. These burn cards are eliminated from the shoe. Number of burn cards based on the card value of the first card: Ace card : 1 card burn Card 2 to 10 : the numerical value correspond to the number of burn cards Picture card: 10 cards burn You have the option to start a new shoe at any given time via the settings menu. The scoreboard will be reset and start anew.

PAIR SIDE BETS

The Pair side bet is optional and does not interact with the base game bet. You may place a bet on the Pair side bet with or without any bet on the base game bets offered: Player, Banker and Tie. There are 3 Pair side bets offered: Player Pair Side Bet: Betting that the first two cards dealt to the Player’s hand is a pair. Pays 11 to 1. Banker Pair Side Bet: Betting that the first two cards dealt to the Banker’s hand is a pair. Pays 11 to 1. Any Pair: Betting that the first two cards dealt to the Player OR the Banker’s hand is a pair. Pays 5 to 1.

GOLD 7 SIDE BET

The Gold 7 side bet is an optional side bet and does not require placing a bet on any of the base game bets offered: Player, Banker and Tie. You will win the Gold 7 side bet if the Banker hand consists of 3-card total of 7 and is also a winning hand. The side bet is paid 40 to 1 and the Banker bet is a push.

JADE 8 SIDE BET

The Jade 8 side bet is an optional side bet and does not require placing a bet on any of the base game bets offered: Player, Banker and Tie. You will win the Jade 8 side bet if the Player hand consists of 3-card total of 8 and is also a winning hand. The side bet is paid 25 to 1 and the Player bet is paid even money.

RUBY 9 SIDE BET

The Ruby 9 side bet is an optional side bet and does not require placing a bet on any of the base game bets offered: Player, Banker and Tie.

You will win the Ruby 9 side bet if the Banker hand or Player hand consists of 3-card total of 9 and pays more if both hands are 3-card totals of 9.

In accordance with fair play gaming practices, the outcome of each and every game is completely independent.

The chances of getting a particular outcome are always the same at the start of every game.

Malfunction voids all pays and plays.
