Craps the Matrix

INTRODUCTION :

  • Craps the Matrix is a variant of standard Craps with an additional Matrix bet.
  • There are two rounds in the game of Craps called come-out and point round.
  • If the outcome of two dice rolled is 2,3,7,11 or 12 then game remains in come-out round and if the outcome is 4,5,6,8,9 or 10 then game enters into point round.
  • The game remains in the point round until the point score or seven is rolled, and the game returns to the starting come-out round.
  • Matrix bet can be placed only after point has been established.

HOW TO PLAY :

  • Select the amount to wager by clicking on the chip of that denomination. The selected chip will be highlighted.
  • Once a wager is placed on PASS LINE or DON’T PASS BAR then ROLL, UNDO and CLEAR BETS buttons are enabled.
  • The ROLL button will be enabled only if a bet is placed on PASS LINE or DON’T PASS BAR.
  • In the come-out round and point round, more chips can be placed on applicable bets.
  • If more chips are placed, the UNDO and CLEAR BETS buttons become available.
  • In come-out round click on CLEAR BETS to clear all the bets on the table and click UNDO to remove the last placed bet on the table.
  • In the point round, CLEAR BETS removes all the bets except the points established on PASS LINE, DON’T PASS BAR, COME, DON’T COME BAR. Once the PASS LINE/DON’T PASS point number or a 7 is rolled, the game returns to come-out round.
  • In the point round, UNDO removes the last placed bet except the points established on PASS LINE, DON’T PASS BAR, COME, DON’T COME BAR bets.
  • Once a game round is completed DOUBLE, REPEAT BET, REPEAT AND ROLL are enabled. Click DOUBLE to place double of the previously placed bet amount. Click REPEAT BET to repeat the previously placed bet. Click REPEAT AND ROLL to repeat the previously placed bet and roll. The above actions will be considered only for the bets placed on PASS/DON’T PASS BAR.
  • Game balance is displayed at the bottom of the game screen.
  • The game rules and payouts are identical in both the real-money and play-money versions.
  • If player account balance is too low to place new PASS/DONT PASS BAR bets after the point number gets resolved, player will be redirected to deposit page.
  • Inactive bets(OFF) will not be enabled until the PASS/DONT PASS BAR point is established after successful deposit.
  • All pays are rounded towards the most accurate accumulated return to the player.

RULES :

  • Game is played with two dice.
  • Chips are used to place bets.
  • Starting with the come-out round, the player can bet on PASS LINE or DON’T PASS BAR
  • After placing a PASS LINE or DON’T PASS BAR wager, the ROLL button is enabled.
  • If the come-out roll total dice value is 7 or 11, called a natural, the game remains at the come-out round.
  • If the come-out roll results in a total dice value of 2, 3, or 12, called craps, the game remains at the come-out round.
  • If the total dice value is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 then a point is made for the respective number and marked with an ON puck. The game enters the point round and remains there until the dice are rolled with that point value or seven

BETS :

There are two types of bets, propositional bets and multi-roll bets.

Multi-roll Bets :

  • Includes PASS LINE, Pass Odds, DON’T PASS BAR, Don’t Pass Odds, MATRIX, COME, Come Odds, DON’T COME BAR, Don’t Come Odds, LOSE, LAY, BUY, WIN, BIG 6, BIG 8, HARDWAY 4, HARDWAY 6, HARDWAY 8 and HARDWAY 10, ALL HARD PAYS.
  • Multi-roll bets may remain unresolved until a certain result is rolled.
  • To make a multi-roll bet, click on the desired location.
  • PASS LINE, DON’T PASS BAR, BIG 6, BIG 8 are “ON” during the come-out roll.
  • Pass Odds, Don’t Pass Odds, COME, Come Odds, DON’T COME BAR, Don’t Come Odds, LOSE, LAY, BUY, WIN, HARDWAY 4, HARDWAY 6, HARDWAY 8 and HARDWAY 10, ALL HARD PAYS are “ON” during point roll.

Propositional Bets :

  • Includes FIELD, C=E, ANY CRAPS, ANY SEVEN, HORN, “Snake eyes” (1,1), Ace/Deuce (1,2), “YO” (5,6), “Midnight” (6,6).
  • Propositional bets are resolved in one roll.
  • To make a proposition bet, click on the desired location.
  • Propositional Bets are ON during the come-out roll.

PASS LINE/ PASS :

  • Payout is 1:1 (even money). The payout format used here implies that when player win, player get back player’s bet plus an amount that is a multiple of player’s bet. Example: If a bet of 1 is placed on PASS LINE, and player wins PASS LINE, then 1 (bet) + 1 (win) = 2 win amount is credited to player’s balance for PASS LINE.
  • To place a PASS LINE bet, click on the PASS LINE area.
  • PASS LINE bets must be placed during the come-out round
  • On the come-out roll, the PASS LINE bet is won with a roll of 7 or 11, and loses with a roll of 2, 3 or 12 (craps). Any other number becomes the point and establishes the point round (marked with the ON puck).
  • In the point round, the PASS LINE bet is won if the PASS point number is rolled and lost if a 7 is rolled.
  • The PASS LINE wager is a contract bet; it cannot be increased, reduced or removed once the Point is established, and it remains until it wins or loses.

DON’T PASS BAR/ DON’T PASS :

  • Payout is 1:1 (even money).
  • To place a DON'T PASS bet, click on the DON'T PASS BAR section.
  • The DON'T PASS bet is the opposite of the PASS LINE bet except rolling a 12 is a push (tie) and the bet is returned to the player.
  • DON'T PASS bets must be placed during the come-out round.
  • On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 loses, 2 or 3 wins, 12 is a push. Any other number becomes 'POINT' (marked with the ON puck).
  • In the point round, the DON’T PASS BAR bet is won if a 7 is rolled and lost if the DON’T PASS point number is rolled.
  • DON'T PASS wager is a contract bet; it cannot be increased, reduced or removed once the point is established, it remains until it wins or loses.

MATRIX BET :

  • Matrix bet can only be made after “PASS/DON’T PASS” wagers established a POINT.
  • Craps the Matrix uses a 4x3 matrix and the letters M, A, T, R, I, X, and Full matrix will be available for wagering.
  • To place Matrix bet click on the letters(M, A, T, R, I, X, Full matrix) available on the table.
  • Once a point has been established, the player can place a bet on any or all of the 6 letters or the “full matrix”.
  • After placing a bet on Matrix, every number which is being rolled gets added to the Matrix and ‘X’ will be highlighted to form a letter.
  • Once a matrix bet has been placed, rolled numbers will get highlighted in ‘obtained matrix’. 
  • If a letter is completed, payout will be given and adds immediately to the balance.
  • Once a matrix bet is won and there is no bet on any other matrix letter, ‘obtained matrix’ will be cleared in next roll and player can place bet on any matrix letter.

  • The MATRIX game only ends when a 7 has been rolled.
  • During the point round, the player can place a bet on any letter at any time providing that there isn’t any number already added to it.
  • MATRIX bets change state to “OFF” if “PASS/DON’T PASS” bets were played and resolved.
  • They will only be enabled in the next point round (only if 4,5,6,8,9,10 are rolled).
  • They will remain in ‘OFF’ state if 2,3,7,11,12 are rolled.
  • Matrix bets are contractual bets, once placed they can not be removed, increased, or decreased until the bet is settled unless the player rolls a number that equals the point and the game phase returns to the come-out round. The player can then remove the Matrix bets but not increase or move them.

COME :

  • COME bet Payout 1:1 (even money).
  • COME bets are similar to PASS LINE bets except they cannot be placed on a come-out roll.
  • 7 or 11 wins, 2, 3, 12 loses. Any other number becomes COME Point, indicated by moving the COME bet to the appropriate number square.
  • After a COME point is established, the bet is won if the COME point number is rolled and lost if a 7 is rolled.
  • To place a COME bet, click on the COME area.
  • Once COME Point has been established, it can`t be increased, reduced or removed until it wins or loses, which means this is a contractual bet.
  • More than one COME bet may be on the table awaiting resolution.

DON’T COME BAR/ DON’T COME :

  • DON’T COME bets payout 1:1 (even money).
  • DON’T COME bets are similar to DON’T PASS bets except they cannot be placed on a come-out roll.
  • 7 or 11 loses, 2 or 3 wins, 12 is a push (tie). Any other number becomes the DON’T COME Point, indicated by moving the bet to the appropriate number square.
  • After a DON’T COME point is established, the bet is won if a 7 is rolled and lost if the DON’T COME point number is rolled.
  • To make a DON’T COME bet, click on the table area marked DON’T COME BAR.
  • Once a DON’T COME Point has been established, it can`t be increased, reduced or removed until it wins or loses which means this is a contractual bet.
  • More than one DON’T COME bet may be on the table awaiting resolution.

Bets on selected numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be placed using WIN, BUY, LOSE and LAY bets. WIN and BUY are bets that the number is achieved before a 7. LOSE and LAY are bets on the 7 occurring before the number.

WIN :

  • A WIN bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the selected number will be rolled before a 7.
  • To place a WIN bet, tap on the rectangular WIN area available on the table.
  • This bet can be removed, decreased or increased in further rolls after placing.
  • WIN bets placed are valid until removed or resolved.
  • When the player has a win on any WIN number, the game can be continued only after selecting either COLLECT or PRESS options.
  • They change state to “OFF” if “PASS/DON’T PASS” bets were played and resolved.
    • They will only be enabled in the next point round (only if 4,5,6,8,9,10 are rolled).
    • They will remain in OFF state if 2,3,7,11,12 are rolled.
  • If the PASS/DON’T PASS point and WIN bet are resolved at a time, player will not be given option to PRESS or COLLECT. The win amount on WIN bet will be automatically collected and added to player balance.

ALL HARD PAYS :

  • The ALL HARD PAYS are four bets, which includes betting 1 unit each on HARDWAY 4, HARDWAY 6, HARDWAY 8, and HARDWAY 10 on the right side of the craps table
  • A HARDWAY win occurs when both dice show identical/same face values. Player loses the bet when 7 or any other combination is rolled on the dice.
    • e.g.,1: If player bets on HARDWAY 6, the 3,3 dice combination is the only way the player can win on a HARDWAY 6, bet loses on 7 or any other combination that adds up to 6 ((4,2), (2,4), (5,1), (1,5)).
    • e.g.,2: If player bets on HARDWAY 8, the 4,4 dice combination is the only way the player can win on a HARDWAY 8, bet loses on 7 or any other combination that adds up to 8 ((3,5), (5,3), (6,2), (2,6)).
    • e.g.,3: If player bets on HARDWAY 4, the 2,2 dice combination is the only way the player can win on a HARDWAY 4, bet loses on 7 or any other combination that adds up to 4 ((3,1), (1,3)).
    • e.g.,4: If player bets on HARDWAY 10, the 5,5 dice combination is the only way the player can win on a HARDWAY 10, bet loses on 7 or any other combination that adds up to 10 ((4,6), (6,4)).
  • “ALL HARD PAYS” are Multi-roll bets, and will be available for playing only after “PASS/DON’T PASS” wagers establishes a POINT.
  • They change state to “OFF” if “PASS/DON’T PASS” bets were played and resolved.
    • They will only be enabled in the next point round (only if 4,5,6,8,9,10 are rolled).
    • They will remain in OFF state if 2,3,7,11,12 are rolled.
  • ALL HARD PAYS can be removed, decreased or increased in further rolls after placing.
  • If player wins the HARDWAY bet, the original bet stays on the same number for next roll and the remaining win amount will be credited to player balance. i.e., if player places 1 bet on HARDWAY 6, then 1 (bet) + 9 (win) = 10 (win), from this win amount 9 (win) will be added to balance and original 1 (bet) stays on the HARDWAY 6 for next roll
  • Player can remove the original bet which is replaced on HARDWAY bets by clicking on UNDO or CLEAR BETS options.

  • ACE/DEUCE – (1, 2) and “Yo” – (5, 6) each pays 15 : 1
  • “SNAKE EYES” – (1, 1) and “MIDNIGHT” – (6, 6) each pays 30 : 1

ANY SEVEN :

  • This bet will be enabled only after placing the bet on PASS/DON’T PASS bar only and are resolved in one dice roll.
  • ANY SEVEN is a bet on rolling 7.
  • ANY SEVEN pays 4 : 1

HORN :

  • HORN is a bet that involves betting 1 unit each for “Snake eyes”, Ace/Deuce ,”YO” ,”Midnight” at the same time for the next roll. These bets will be enabled only after placing the bet on PASS/DON’T PASS bar only.
  • HORN bets can be placed at any time of the game and are resolved in one dice roll.
