BLACKJACK WAGER

The objective of blackjack is to have a hand with a higher point value than the dealer.

All numbered cards have a point value equal to their number.

Face cards are all valued as 10s.

Aces may be counted as 1 or 11.

A blackjack occurs when an Ace and any face or 10 card are dealt as the first two cards to a hand.

Any other combination that adds to 21 will be counted as 21 but not a blackjack.

Blackjacks pay 3:2.

After the initial two cards are dealt, the player may hit or stand.

On hit, an additional card will be dealt to that hand. If the new total exceeds 21, the hand busts and no prize is awarded for the blackjack wager.

On stand, no additional cards are dealt and play proceeds to the next hand or the dealer.

If the initial two cards for a hand have equal point value, the hand may be split for a wager of the initial blackjack wager.

[hitSplitAces:true] Split aces may be hit

[hitSplitAces:false] Split aces only get dealt one card.

After any hand is initially dealt two cards the player may double down, doubling the initial blackjack wager.

[surrenderType:”Late”] After the initial two cards are dealt for any hand, the hand may be surrendered. A surrendered hand will have half the blackjack wager returned and will not be played. A hand may not be surrendered after a split.

[surrenderType:”None”] After the initial two cards are dealt for any hand, the hand may not be surrendered.

Dealer Rules

[dealerHitsSoft17:false] Dealer stands on all seventeens.

[Insurance/Even Money:true] If the dealer shows an Ace, the player will be offered Insurance or Even Money.

Insurance costs half the initial wager for each hand and pays 2:1 if the dealer has a blackjack.

Even money pays 1:1 regardless of the dealer’s hand.
