3 Runaway Riches is a video slot game comprised of 5 reels (referred to as reels 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Each reel is 3 symbols high.
Features include: Wilds, Runaway Trains, and Hold & Win.
Winlines
This game features 20 Winlines that run from left to right across the reels.
A winning combination is created when matching symbols appear on consecutive reels, starting from reel 1, along an active Winline.
Wins on multiple Winlines are added together and awarded based on the total bet.
All winning combinations and payouts follow the game's paytable.
Wilds
Wild symbols can appear on reels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Wilds substitute for all non-special symbols.
Wilds pay as the highest-value non-special symbol.
If a sequence of Wilds is interrupted by a special symbol, the win is calculated according to the paytable.
Runaway Trains
If a coloured coin lands on the board, and does not trigger Hold & Win, it will be thrown up to the matching coloured Runaway Train.
When a coloured coin hits the Runaway Trains they will increase in size by a random amount.
If a coloured coin hits a maximum sized Runaway Train, Hold & Win is triggered.
The Runaway Trains will maintain their value for each specific stake. As such, if the stake is changed and a spin is made, then upon returning to the previous stake, the Runaway Trains will return to the state they were in before the stake change.
Hold & Win
If at least one of the coloured coins (Special Extra Board Coin, Special Upgrader Coin, or Special Extra Spins Coin) lands on the board it may trigger the Hold & Win feature.
Up to one coloured coin can appear at any time per reel.
Upon triggering the feature, all Hold & Win symbols lock into place on the board and remain fixed for the duration of the feature.
Hold & Win symbols include: Special Bonus symbols, Special Extra Board Coin, Special Upgrader Coin, Special Extra Spins Coin, and the Special Mini, Minor, Major, and Mega Prize symbols.
The player is awarded 3 respins at the start of the feature.
The board then duplicates, creating two Hold & Win sessions.
During each respin, only positions not occupied by locked Hold & Win symbols are active.
When a new Hold & Win symbol lands during a respin, it locks into place and the respin counter is reset to its initial value.
If no new Hold & Win symbols land during a respin, the respin counter decreases by one.
The feature ends when all respins are used without landing a new Hold & Win symbol.
Dependent on which coloured coin or coins trigger Hold & Win, different effects will be present during the feature.
Special Extra Board Coin (Red) - This Coin will unlock the duplicated board, granting it a Hold & Win spin counter and allowing the cash values on that board to be won.
Special Upgrader Coin (Green) - When this Coin is initially activated it will shower additional Special Bonus symbols on the board. Once Hold & Win is finished it will upgrade all symbols on the board.
Special Extra Spins Coin (Blue) - Whilst this Coin is on a board it will increase the amount of spins remaining on the relevant board to 4.
If a coloured coin does not appear on the triggering spin but lands during Hold & Win in an active position, its corresponding feature effect will activate immediately.
Special Bonus symbols can have cash values of 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x, 4x, 4.5x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 12x stake.
Filling a board with Hold & Win symbols during Hold & Win will reward the Grand Jackpot of 5000x stake.
Filling both boards, only possible with the Special Extra Board Coin, rewards the Grand Jackpot twice for 10000x stake.
During Hold & Win, only Hold & Win symbols and Blank Symbols appear. Blank Symbols have no value and do not contribute to wins.
